Duncan
Moore
I am a professional feature writer with extensive experience
in writing about cars, motorbikes, scooters
and bicycles.
I started my career as a writer in 1997 as Technical Editor
on Cycling Today. In 1999 I moved to Car and Driving, a
high profile media agency predominantly concentrating on the
car market
where I introduced a ‘two-wheeled’ section
covering motorbikes and scooters.
In late 1999 I joined Teletext as a Sub Editor and was quickly
promoted to Feature Writer producing general motoring copy,
features,
interviews and news stories.
In January 2006 I moved to
Dealer World as Feature Writer, becoming Associate Editor three
months later. I now represent the title at motorcycle trade and
custom shows across the globe, establishing contacts with companies
and securing interviews and features. At many of
these events I also act as photographer for the stories
generated (some examples are on this site).
My freelance work has appeared in Which Bike,
Streetfighters, Back Street Heroes, The All Harley Drag Racing
magazine, Custombike (Hungary), Rod 'n' Custom magazine (Hungary)
and The Kneeslider (website).
